Technical Abilities

Digital Photography

Extensive knowledge in DSLR Cameras, image management, and digital photographic editing. Known software includes, but not limited to: Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge.

Digital Video and Sound

Extensive knowledge in a variety of High-Definition video cameras, audio recorders, and editing. Known software includes, but not limited to: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. 

Digital Printing

Extensive knowledge in Epson printers and all color calibration associated with digital reproduction. Experience in producing custom ICC profiles. 

Darkroom Printing

Extensive knowledge in traditional darkroom techniques that include, but are not limited to: print toning, zone system, and various alternative processes. Knowledge in color darkroom printing.

Laser Cutting

Extensive knowledge in testing various materials for laser cutting. Knowledge of various laser cutting and etching techniques. Established policies and procedures for School of Art laser cutter at the University of Arizona.

Letterpress Printing

Extensive knowledge in lead & woodblock typesetting, printing, and polymer plate making. Experience using Vandercook, Pilot, and Chandler Price presses.

Book Art

Extensive knowledge in various book bindings both traditional and non-traditional. Knowledge in book as object, sculpture, and ephemeral.   

Computer Operating Systems

Extensive knowledge in operating Apple & Windows computers and their various operating systems. Knowledge in cross integration of the two major operating systems.
